Francesco Scervini

Francesco Scervini is Associate Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, University of Pavia. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Turin - Collegio Carlo Alberto.

His research interests are in the fields of inequality and redistribution, political economy, economics of education, public economics. He participated to several national and international research projects, among which, FP7 Growing inequalities impacts – GINI and FP7 Social Innovation: empowering the young for the common good – SOCIETY. He received the Aldi Hagenaar memorial award from the Luxembourg Income Study in 2010, and the SIEP prize from the Italian Society of Public Economics in 2009 and 2014. He published several papers in international peer reviewed journals and chapters in books for distinguished publishers.
